Postpartum Doula

[book me at 8 months pregnant or earlier]

Those first several weeks of postpartum can be overwhelming whether this is your 1st or 4th time! Imagine thriving your postpartum season (instead of just surviving!) with plenty of rest, recovery, and good nutrition to help you be the best mom for your baby 🙂

If and when you need extra support during your postpartum period, I’m here to help you and your growing family for a smooth transition into your next season of life. As your postpartum doula, here are ways I can help you with:

  • Self-care: making sure you have undisturbed self-care time (ex. sitz bath, nap time)
  • Infant Care: infant feeding, soothing, diaper change, bathing
  • Nourishment: making sure you get proper nutrition by providing you with healthy meals or snacks or recipe recommendations (I have a list of recipes for you to choose from)
  • Emotional Support: making sure you get all the love (encouragement and affirmation) that you need
  • House Chores & Errands: light house chores and errands
  • Sibling Support: making sure older siblings are cared for
  • Guidance: providing information and help on infant care
  • Referrals: providing local resources that you might need during postpartum
  • Permanent access to my ever growing “Mom to Mom” database (a natural & non-toxic database for pregnancy, postpartum, and the whole family)

Investment: $40/hour for 4-6 hours of support per day. I’m currently only available on Saturdays.

Doula Training

Certification is not mandatory and does not guarantee the quality and skill of a doula. That being said, I view doula training and certification as a form of credibility for myself and my clients. I received my Birth and Postpartum Doula certification through Madriella in April and June of 2024.

Why Catholic Doula?

When I was pregnant with my first child, I started to see more of the beauty of God’s design in pregnancy, motherhood, and family by following the footsteps of Mary and the Holy Family. It is only when I rooted my identity in Christ that I am able to receive my calling to motherhood with humility, boldly, without fear. I then had this growing desire to have somebody to walk with me through my journey, like a sister, a fellow mother, who would not only support me and my decisions, but also share the same value with me – who would pray with me and for me, who would remind me to trust and surrender my pregnancy to God. This desire launched my determination to be that someone for mothers and their growing family.

Send me a message to schedule a coffee chat, ask (any) questions, and find out my availability for your birth/ postpartum timeline. Below are some email prompts you can follow that would help me get up to speed. Talk to you soon!

  • How far along are you in your pregnancy? When is your guess/due date?
  • Is this your first pregnancy?
  • Are you familiar with doula work? What makes you interested in looking for a doula?
  • What are you looking for in a faith-based doula?
